Asante Sana Warren for another fantastic safari.
A safari with Warren is always a great experience, with his enthusiasm, love and knowledge of the wildlife and its habitat and photographic skill you can’t go wrong. This year I have enjoyed eight days with Warren and friends on the Ol Kinyei and Naboisho Conservancies, enjoying all the Mara has to offer, but far from the maddening crowds.
I’ve been on a number of safaris with Warren now and have learnt so much about the Kenyan wildlife and habit as well as how to use my camera! He always seems to know where to find the animals and, once found, how to predict where they will go so that the car can be moved into the correct position to get that perfect shot. With his tuition I’ve moved on from a point and shoot camera to a mirrorless full frame, I’ve even manage to win a few competitions. The evenings on safari are spent reviewing the days photos and sitting round the camp fire with a drink listening to stories from Warrens years of filming wildlife.
Heather and Peter, sadly left behind in the office, are fantastic at organising the trip for you. You are met as you get off the plane and taken through customs to be delivered to Peter, who will take you to your hotel or internal flight depending on your time of arrival. On return to Nairobi Peter again collects you and takes you to your hotel, or for a meal before your flight home with your boarding cards already printed out for you. Again, on you way home, you are helped through to customs so you arrive at your flight relaxed.
Its true what they say that ‘Africa steals your heart’ and with Warren as your guide you can’t go wrong. I always start looking forward to my next trip out on the way home.
Thank you Warren, Heather and Peter for another fantastic experience, I’ll be back.
